Team Touchdown, also called Escort is the main gamemode of SMASH LEGENDS.

Team Touchdown has currently 3 maps, each map is chosen randomly.

• Explorer's Flying Trunk

About Team Touchdown

Claiming one point at enemy base.

The Chess Piece.

Claiming enemy's center base to win.

Escort main objective is to push one of the two chess pieces at the center to the opponent’s base wins. Staying within range of a friendly chess piece for a certain amount of time will move it towards the opponent’s side. Pushing a chess piece to the end and promoting it will result in victory.

However, if the opposing team enters the range of your chess piece, it will stop moving. You will have to SMASH the opponent Legends away from to continue making progress.

Each team’s progress is shown on the top of the screen. Suppress the opponent’s chess piece, and escort yours to the opponent’s base. The chess pieces’ location and progress are visible at the top center of the screen.

Trivia

• Team Touchdown was originally released as "Escort", only available in Arena Lab.
  • It was later released as a standart mode, and was planned to become the main mode in replacement of Dominion on July 2022. This idea then was scrapped, and in April 2024, Team Touchdown got removed from the game.
