Javert is an Assassin Legend.

Story

A troubled investigator who has lost faith. What he went through in his story made Javert skeptical of law and justice. In Library World, Javert dreamed of retiring from detective work and living out a normal life, but there was no end to those who wanted his return as the famed investigator. After meeting 7D, who sought him out personally, Javert once again returns as an investigator for everyone’s sake.

Basics Hit Count: 3 Throws out a flurry of punches, dealing 927 total damage. When used as Aerial Skill, floats the opponent up then strikes down, dealing 412 total damage. Trickery Skill CD: 5.5s Throws a dagger that deals 206 damage. If the dagger hits a target, Skill can be reactivated within 3 seconds to teleport to the target and deal 309 damage. Decisive Blow Charge Speed: Fast Swiftly dashes a short distance. Can reactivate within 1s after dashing. Upon reactivation, dashes forward and delivers a powerful kick, dealing 1236 damage. No "LedgeDesc" value inserted (yet) No "GetupDesc" value inserted (yet)

Abilities

All stats are shown at Max Level (5) Site Raid After using Ultimate, increases damage of all attacks excluding Ultimate by 36% for 6s. Target Set Increases Movement Speed and Damage by 10% until smashing an opponent. Effect reactivates when Javert is smashed. Scientific Investigation Decreases Skill cooldown by 1s. Trauma Recovery Increases Aerial Attack’s damage by 24%. Using the second Aerial Attack while out-of-bound floats Javert higher. Punch Line Increases damage dealt to Legends with 20% HP or below by 200%. Smashing opponents restore 20% HP and increase Movement Speed by 32% for 5s.

Trivia

• After planning to live out a normal life in Library World after retirement, Javert returned upon 7D’s proposal.
• Struggling to adapt to the developed Library World, Javert is often tricked by Gumi.
• When Javert learned of Flare’s past, he became unsure of whether he should treat her as a criminal or not.
• Javert used to disregard the circumstances of the criminals he apprehended, but he is now reconsidering his stance after going through a lot.
• Javert thinks he has a sense of humor. Although, no one else thinks so.
• Javert’s suit and dagger are special items made for him by 7D.
• Javert is not accustomed to using advanced technology and finds using his suit and dagger difficult. Just as he does with his mobile phone.
• Although a former rogue and a former detective, Robin and Javert seem to understand each other thanks to their similar circumstances.

Relationships

Gumi “Don’t make me regret trusting you, Gumi.”

A criminal who works under 7D and is his partner and subject of surveillance. They always clash because their personalities and ways of thinking don't match, but they have a minimum level of trust in each other.

Snow “Your ideals are noble, but childish, boy. It’s better to follow the teacher’s words.”

7D's disciple. Deep inside, he wants to follow Snow's ideals, but he whispers that his life so far will fail if he pursues those ideals. Because of this, he ends up treating him coldly without even realizing it.

Flare “I have to do my job, girl. Don’t make me do this.”

A member of Umbra who must be arrested. However, because young Flare was destined to be that way, she must suffer endlessly, which increases Javert's agony. That's why he doesn't want to deal with her as much as possible.

Robin “It’s a shameful situation for both of us. We’ll be better off as former enemies.”

A fellow employee working in another department (for now). The former police officer and former criminal are enemies, but now they know that they are doing something they don't want to do, and they share the agony of being office workers. He sometimes goes out for drinks together.
